I make art because there is no other way of spending time that I find more meaningful. When I create a portrait, and it transcends the material world, it comes alive and I feel spiritually satisfied. These works are my progeny that I sent into the future, where I hope that some part of my soul and the subjects’ souls will be connected to other souls who see my work.
